I'm a third generation cartomancer -- a fancy phrase meaning that my grandmother, my mother, and I all use card oracles of various sorts. In my grandmother's time (the 1920s), it was playing cards. For my mother, it was Tarot. For me it's Tarot and Lenormand cards, plus whatever oracle cards strike my fancy. My style is highly predictive, which is very different from the current trend to use the cards for spiritual and psychological counseling. Semi-retired from reading for the public, I currently teach and mentor students to read cards professionally through an "Oracle Club" that meets twice a month in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area. This blog is a place where I post materials for the Oracle Club, along with some highly opinionated musings on the state of fortune telling and the New Age in general.
